Privacy Policy

Blemidan connects two devices directly (WebRTC) to transfer files hand to hand. The file itself never passes through our servers: it travels only between the sender's device and the recipient's.

For free use, Blemidan does not require an account, a password, or an email address. The only data processed by our servers in that case is:

• The session code, its creation and expiry date (sessions expire automatically and are deleted);
• Transfer metadata: file name, size, status (pending / in progress / completed) and timestamp, never the file content;
• A temporary device identifier and a display name chosen by the user, valid for the duration of the session;
• If a direct connection between the two devices is impossible (some mobile or corporate networks), a TURN relay (Cloudflare) may carry the encrypted stream. This relay sees encrypted traffic and network metadata (IP addresses), but has no access to the content in clear.

If you purchase the Premium plan, an email address is required (to receive the license key), and we then retain, associated with the key: the email address provided, the payment transaction identifier, and the license expiry date.

• We never store the content of transferred files.
• We never sell or share data with third parties for advertising purposes.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the site.

If you activate a Premium license key, it is associated with your sessions to unlock larger limits (number of devices, file size). Payment is processed by Stripe: Blemidan never receives or stores any card information, Stripe acts as a processor for the transaction.

Sending the license key by email is handled by Resend, which processes your email address and the content of the message sent for this purpose. These two providers act only as processors, for the purchase and delivery of the license, never for free use of the Service.

Sessions and their metadata expire and are automatically deleted after a short period of inactivity. We do not keep a transfer history beyond what is necessary for the service to function properly.

Data associated with a Premium license (email, transaction identifier, expiry date) is kept for the duration of the license's validity, then archived for accounting purposes, within applicable legal limits.
